Alsace Grand Cru AOP
Alsace Grand Cru AOP was first decreed in 1975 with a single named vineyard, Schlossberg, specified for the appellation. Another 24 grand cru vineyards appeared in 1983, followed by an additional 25 in 1992. A 51st grand cru, Kaefferkopf, was added in 2007.
