General Protocols for ALS IFT

• VS: obtained and documented q 10 unless other wise indicated.
• ECG/ETCO2/SPO2: Continuous monitoring if clinically indicated for all pts
• All Vent Pts: Will have continuous ETCO2 monitoring
• Recommended Route of Medication Infusions: Peripheral IV. IO may be used
  > Meds may be administered through central venous cath
  > Paramedicas may administer meds boluses, infusion, and fluids through facility sent/placed subq devices
• IV access: Should be est, by hospital or Paramedic themselves, IO may also be est.
• All monitoring and therapy will be continued until
