What are signs and symptoms of asthma
Cough
short of breath
chest tightness
colds lasting longer than 10 days
What is physical exam for asthma
Wheezing during normal breathing
prolonged expiratory phase
associate atopic dermatitis or eczema
Bronchospasm = early RR increase, chest go silent, late RR decrease
What are other diagnoses of wheezing
allergic/infectious rhinitis sinusitis FB pertussis CF GERD
What is the prognosis for asthma
