  • no more than 1 hour (attention)
  • sequencing; problem-solving
  • environment is important: everything in the visual field is usable, anything not is not valuable
  • demonstration & visual instruction required
  • NO written instruction
  • diagrams & pictures can be helpful
  • ask leading questions to promote thought and sequencing
