A = Span x Chord

Circumference of a Circle & Cylinder
C = Diameter x Pi (3.1416)
Circumference of an Ellipse
C = 2 x Pi(3.1416) x the square root of A2 + B2 divided by 2

Volume of a Rectangular Solid
V = L x W x H
Volume of a Cube
V = Side x Side x Side
Volume of a Cylinder
V = Pi(3.1416) x Radius to the 2nd power x H
Volume of a Sphere
V = 4/3 x Pi(3.1416) x Radius to the 3rd power (if given the radius)
V = 1/6 x Pi(3.1416) x Diameter to the 3rd power (if goven the diameter)
Volume of a Cone
V = 1/3 x Pi(3.1416) x Radius to the 2nd power x H

S = 6 x S to the 2nd power
Piston Displacement
PD = Pi(3.1416) x (Diameter Bore /2) to the 2nd power x Stroke x # of cylinders

The volume of a Cylinder if given the culinder bore or diameter:
V = Pi(3.1416) x Diameter divided by 2 squared x H
Compression Ratio:
CR = Vbottom over Vtop
*but if asking for CR and not given a V Top then you use:
Vtop = Vbottom - Displacement
