What is the treatment for alcohol withdrawal. (5)

A

Admit to hospital.
Monitor BP and TRP/4h (beware a low or drop in BP).
For the 1st 3 days, give chlrdiazepoxide, weaning over 7-10days.
Alternatively give diazepam.
You may also need to give vitamins.
