Pain Management

A

Only one of the following:

Fentanyl 1 mcg/kg IV/IM slowly every 5 minutes

  • -Max dose = 100 mcg
  • -Max Total dose = 200 mcg

Dilaudid
Adult- 0.5-1.0 mg IV/IM every 10 min to max of 2 mg
Geriatric (>65 y.o.)- 0.5 mg IV/IM every 10 min to max of 1 mg
