Military Training Routes (MTRs) are shown on (Sectionals, laterals) and (TACs, TFRs). They are identified by the route designator: USE THE DOC #16

Route designators are shown in (broken, solid) black on the route centerline, positioned (away, along) the route for (perception, continuity).

Routes numbered (001 to 099, 010 to 999) are shown as IR1 or VR99, eliminating the (initial, last) zeros.

Military Training Routes:
Direction of flight along the route is indicated by small (sharp edges, arrowheads) adjacent to and in conjunction with each route (designer, designator).

The following note (USE THE DOC appears on (Planes, Helicopters), (Laterals, Sectionals) and TACs except for (Hawaiian Islands, Virgin Islands), which is different.
