What are the vertical boundaries of a Broadcast Area?
A
a. Surface to 5000AMSL; or
b. Surface to the base of CTA if 8500ft or less; or
c. Surface to a nominated level.
Vertical and lateral boundaries are given in AIO MAP.

What are the conditional status’ of restricted areas?
A
RA1: may plan though and under normal circumstances expect a clearance.
RA2: must not plan through unless a on a route specified in Preferred Routes. Clearance not assured.
RA3: must not plan through. Clearances not available.
