What is the definition of an airplane cold soak?

Answer 1

Before the first flight of the day, when the airplane is cold-soaked at ambient temperature of -30°C or below for more than 8 hours.

1. The engine must be motored for 60 seconds and fan rotation must be verified before an engine start is initiated.
2. Trust reverser must be actuated until the deploy and stow cycles are 2 seconds or less.
