A
Designed to stop tricycle landing gear equipped aircraft not equipped with tail hooks.

Describe the Runway Numbering System.
A
- Runways are normally numbered in relation to their magnetic heading rounded off to the nearest 10 degrees. ex:(A runway heading of 250 degrees = Runway 25.)
- If two runways have parallel center lines, the runway will be identified as L(left) or R(right). ex:(25L)
- If 3 parallel runways exist, C (Center) is added.
