Voltage Regulator

Maintains the output of the alternator at 28 VDC during engine RPM changes and AV electrical load changes.

Power Distribution Unit (PDU)

Controls electrical power to the IFF, anti-collision strobe light, NAV lights, TALS transponder, parachute DIM, and fuel pump.

Communication Relay Interface Box (CRIB)

Provides serial communications between the ACE and the Comms Relay radios, as well as providing 12 VDC to the CRP radios.

AV System Interface Module (ASIM)

Provides functionality to receive the STANAG messages from the Mini-T Ku band primary data link transceiver and cover them to the 52 byte messages for the Payload and ACE III to operate.

A component of the Primary Data Link, that operates on the Ku band, and acts as the main aircraft modem. Only device on the AV which transmits the payload video to the ground station.
