Category C - 10 days
Category A & D CANNOT be extended
How is a write-up properly cleared or deferred?
Mechanic will write ip the corrective actions or deferment then sign and date the AML.
How many days can an aircraft be flown with a Category B MEL discrepancy?
B - 3 Consecutive Calendar days excluding the day of the malfunction
How many days can an aircraft be flown with a Category C MEL discrepancy?
C - 10 Consecutive Calendar days excluding the day of the malfunction
How many days can an aircraft be flown with a Category D MEL discrepancy?
D - 120 Consecutive Calendar days excluding the calendar day of the Malfunction
How many days can an aircraft be flown with a Category M MEL discrepancy?
