Adjust flight path
Advise ATC of any clnc deviations
EGPWS (at NITE or in IMC) Terrain, Terrain" or "Terrain, Terrain, PULL UP, PULL UP" or "Too Low, Terrain" "Pull up, Pull up!"
“TOGA THRUST, stow speed brakes”
Disconnect autopilot
Thrust levers AGGRESIVELY to TOGA
Roll wings level & FULL back stick to alpha max
MAINTAIN UNTILwarning stops & terrrain clnc assured
Retract speed brakes
MAINTAIN CONFIG (no flap or gear changes)
GPWS (DAY VMC with obstacles in sight) "Terrain, Terrain" or "Terrain, Terrain, PULL UP, PULL UP" or "Too Low, Terrain" "Pull up, Pull up!"
- Take positive corrective actions until warning ceases
- Advise ATC
“Sink Rate” or “Glideslope > 500’ AGL
Adjust thrust and pitch
“Sink Rate” or “Glideslope < 500’ AGL
IMC=Missed Approach
VMC = momentary deviation (correctable) is OK
Stabilized approach criteria PLAN by 1500’
Gear down, A/S< 180Kts
Tcas RA
Autopilot OFF
Flight Directors OFF
Follow RA guidance
Upset or Stall
“Upset” “Push” pause “Roll” pause “Thrust” pause “Stabilize”
Stabilized apprch criteria by 1000’ (REPORT REQUIRED)
Final Landing Config, Landing checklist complete, Airspeed +15/-5, On lateral profile w/in 1 dot of LOC, On vertical profile +/-1 Degree GS , +/-300fpm or sustained Vert speed < 1200fpm)
Stabilized apprch criteria by 500’ (REJECT REQUIRED)
Except for MOMENTARY deviation in a/s or descent rate, PM directs G/A with out of tolerance paramater (i.e. “Go-Around, Flaps”)
PWS warning- “WINDSHEAR, WINDSHEAR, WINDSHEAR!” (Reactive warning)
"TO/GA THRUST, STOW SPEED BRAKES" Select TO/GA Disconnect Autopilot Pitch for SRS (17.5degrees) Wings Level Retract Speedbrakes
PWS warning- “WINDSHEAR, AHEAD” “GO-AROUND” “WINDSHEAR, AHEAD” (Predictive warning)
On approach: Normal Go-Around (No Turns)
