Q

What is the airbag operation?

A
  1. Vehicle collision is detected by impact/acceleration sensor
  2. Safing sensor confirms collision and now sends signal to the ECU which triggers igniter
  3. Igniter starts chemical reaction to produce gas that ignites the airbag
  4. Occupants hit airbag and it deflates through small holes
