Question 1

What are the three potential indications of a hard landing?

2) Cockpit g meter reading 3.5 or above

Question 2

What should be done if hard landing is suspected?

Answer 2

1) If A/C is on the ground and you can abort safety, do that
2) IF aircraft is airborne, retract the flaps to TO, and maintain GR DN Flap TO config,
- If control authority is suspected, conduct a controllability check
- Recover the A/C using threshold speed as determined from controllability check or 120 KIAS - whichever is higher
