9
Q

On TO, how is the avionics exhaust fan and venturi configured? When will they change?

A

Avionics exhaust fan is ON, Venturi (shut-off valve) closed.
It opens after TO at 1.5psid and the fan turns off

15
Q

Cabin Air Smoke light, will the Cargo Zone Cond. Air S/O valve close? What’s the difference between Auto and manual?

A

Only after you push the button. In auto it’ll reduce to single pack. In manual you have to do that first then select the Cab Air Smoke switch off

16
Q

Pack 1 Flow light means?

A

Pack is commanded on with airflow is insufficient or pack is commanded off with flow present

17
Q

What is the limitation for active engine pneumatic supplies?

A

Do not interconnect 2 or more active engine systems

18
Q

Temp HI light means what? Does it automatically close the PRV?

A

Hot air downstream of the pre-cooler.
In auto it closes the valve. (Level 1)
In manual you have to close it. (Level 3)

19
Q

MANF Light closes the PRV’s in both auto and manual?

A

True. But in manual you have to perform a decay check IAW QRH

20
Q
#1 Manifold Alert means?
#1 & 2 means?
A

Leak between #1 engine and the fuselage.

Leak at the forward left tunnel

21
Q

2 Manifold Alert means?

A

Leak aft of the CAC

22
Q
#3 Manifold Alert means?
#1 2 and 3 means?
A
#3 means engine to fuselage and/or right forward tunnel
All three means leak within the CAC
23
Q

Does the red manifold light extinguish?

A

Once it cools down.

24
Q

The manifold failure detection system protects:

A
3 MANF’s
3 Packs
CAC
Tail Pylon Area
Horizontal Stab A/I
25
Q

DITCH Switch does what?

A
Depressurizes
Inhibits EGPWS
TCAS to TA
Closes
Holes
26
Q

When are the 6 windows de-fogged?

A

From preflight to shutdown

27
Q

When do you use Wing A/I on the ground?

A

<=6 degrees and taking off into icing conditions

28
Q

Run up requirements at takeoff and taxi?

A

1) Hold brakes, N1 to 60% check engine indications.

2) Every 15 minutes for 30 sec run N1 to 60%. (if unable, run-up on RWY for 30 sec)

29
Q

How many sources can one bleed support?

A

4 except up to 5 on one (one pack and wing/tail A/I when departing icing conditions
