Assumes leak in trim air manifold. Closes both trim air PRVs in auto or manual
Is trim air available if pack 1 or 3 is shut off?
Yes, the other pack provides trim air through the common distribution manifold.
Describe auto pressurization schedule
Slats extend- 100 ft below field elevation
TO power- bleeds/packs off
First power reduction or 4500’ AFE- bleeds/packs on
5000’ AFE- normal pressurization schedule
What happens to the bleed PRV when MANF light illuminates?
Bleeds will close in auto or manual
What does the MFDS monitor?
3 pneumatic systems 3 packs Tail pylon Horizontal stabilizer anti-ice CAC compartment
What does bleed TEMP HI light indicate?
What happens to bleed PRV?
High temperature downstream of precooler
Auto- bleeds will close
Manual- will not close
What happens if multiple MANF lights illuminate?
Auto- associated PRVs will close, ESC will do a decay check then reopen the functioning manifold
Manual- PRVs will close but decay check must be done manually
What happens if fire or smoke condition is sensed in lower cargo compartment?
ESC will shut down airflow to that zone, flow DISAG light will illuminate on cargo fire panel
How many fire bottles for lower cargo compartment?
2 total
How long will it take for the LOW light to illuminate after firing bottle 1?
30 seconds
When/how does the system notify you to fire the second cargo fire bottle?
After 90 minutes the Agent Disch light will flash
