1) Service Brake Chamber

How does a service brake chamber work?
A
1) Contains a flexible rubber disc (diaphragm), a metal rod (pushrod) and return spring.
2) When the brake pedal is pushed, compressed air fills the service chamber
3) Causing the diaphragm to move and push out the pushrod to apply the brakes
