  1. Moisture and oil can form sludge damaging seals and causing brakes valves to stick
  2. Oil and moisture can become corrosive
  3. Too much build up can cause reduced volume of air and causing potential brake failure

What is meant by dual service tanks

A

When air leaves the supply tank it splits into two circuits. A primary and secondary called dual service tanks. “Dry Tanks.

This is a safety features incase one tank or circuit fails.

A

Yes. When it is being exhausted from the vehicle. Compressed air leaves the vehicle at a very high speed. It carries moisture, oil, dirt and dust.
