Lending assistance to countries or communities who are in need.

Emergency aid - provided to save people’s lives after a natural disaster or war.
Charitable aid - is provided by charities like water aid for projects aimed at helping specific communities.
Development aid - government to government (75% of all aid)

What are the advantages of aid?

- Emergency aid in times of disaster saves lives.

Disadvantages of aid
A
1.Aid can increase dependency of LEDC on donor counties. Sometimes aid is not a gift.
2.Aid may not reach the people who need it most. Corruption may lead to local.
