When should aircrew members consult an aeromedical provider?
anytime a physical or psychological condition is suspected or known to be detrimental to the safe performance of flight duty.
What type of lighting does the airfield have and where are the controls located?
Controls are located on the counter to the left of the local control TED in the tower
Runway: white, high intensity runway lights with 5 settings
Threshold: green threshold marker lights
Boundary: perimeter fence to the west and sand berms to the north east and south
Approach: 36 has medium intensity approach lighting system with sequence flashers and 5 intensity settings (sequence flashers have 3 settings)
Taxiways: blue lights with 3 settings
Rotating beacon: located on top of the tower with a split white beam and single green beam
Obstruction: several radio antennas marked by red lights
Wind direction indicator: located on the west side of runway on the roof of the TOC

What are the duties and responsibilities of ATC Training Supervisor?
- Plan, schedule, direct, and supervise facility training of assigned ATC personnel
- supervise and conduct classroom and self study training
- develop local course material, training aids, and control scenarios to supplement and enhance the FTP
- evaluate and analyze the capabilities and progress of all ATC personnel assigned to that facility
- Maintain training records
- Conduct position qualification evaluations
- recommend to the facility chief those controllers who require proficiency or remedial training based on personal observations and SL comments
- May serve as ATCS/CTO examiner
- Administer biennial written exams and conducts skill evals
- must be facility rated and completed facility management and administration training

Time checks should be at the beginning of each shift with the US Naval Observatory
Can you be an aircrew member with corrective lenses?
Aircrew members requiring corrective lenses in order to achieve 20/20 vision will be restricted from flying duties unless they are wearing either spectacle or contact lenses which provide 20/20 vision, near and far vision bilaterally. Aircrew members will use contact lenses only as specified in the Contact Lens APL.
