individual differences- disadvantage - other factors may effect obedience
nature/ nurture- advantage - see people are influenced by the environment in presence of authority
low ecological validity in evidence - milgrams study - low generalisability to everyday life
supporting evidence - milgram - 65% obeyed the authority figure, people will obey dispite showing moral strain
