A system in which once a political party wins in office, their people are elected to government jobs for their support

It proved how on certain matters, South Carolina could be more vocal than the Federal Government would’ve wanted under their control.
How did Jackson get so much support for his second election for president?
His followers encouraged him after the Corrupt Bargain took place as his loss was seen as unfair.
Why was the Jacksonian Democracy important to American History?
It was the original Democratic Party before it fell and got overthrown by new political views.
