Q

What does the European treatment of people they came into contact with reveal about their worldview?

A

During this period of time people believed that the darker the skin the less important of a person you were. Since the first nations weren’t as pale as they were they treated them less than. When they arrived in america the Europeans brought diseases that killed millions of First Nations, this shows that the Europeans had a careless point of view. They didn’t care if they destroyed the natural things that were already there. They mistreated the people that lived there before they had even known the land had exited. Their worldview wasn’t as sophisticated as they set it out to be.
