Medley

Transgress
(v.): to violate or break a law, command or moral code
Ex.: The girl ignored the no trespassing sign and jumped the fence.
Preserve
(v.): maintain a purpose in spite of difficulty, obstacles, or discouragement; not give up; persist
Ex.: He focussed on his paper not giving up even if he didn’t understand the question.
Naysayer
(n.): a person who habitually expresses negative or pessimistic views.
Ex.: He slugged around the halls commenting negative things to people as he walked by, being a naysayer.
Fawning
(adj.): favor seeking; trying to get the approval of an important or powerful person by giving he person praise, special attention, etc.
Ex.: He fawned the principal, expecting rewards for his behavior.
Resilient
(adj.): describing someone or something that springs back after being compressed or stretched; recovering readily from illness, depression, adversity, etc.
Ex.: He was resilient, always springing back from bad situations.
Expedition
(n.): a journey or trip for some specific purpose, such as exploration, research, or war; a group of people, ships, vehicles, etc. that go on such a journey.
