Ultrasonic criteria for diagnosis
A
Age 15-39 need 3 or more cysts (uni or bilaterally)
40-59 need two in each
69+ need 3 or more in each

Extra-renal manifestations
A
Hypertension (excess renin production) Polycythaemia (excess EPO production) Berry aneurysms Liver cysts (hepatomegaly) Cardiac valve disease (mitral prolapse most common) Diverticula disease Aortic aneurysm

Cause if abdominal pain in ADPKD
A
Infected cyst
Bleeding into cyst
(Also diverticula disease, nephrolithiasis, hernia conplication, ruptured AAA, tuberous sclerosis complex
