when people between the ages of 9 and 18 adapt to adult life by going through physical and sexual changes. sex hormones are responsible for the changes that occur in puberty. the pituitary gland controls the release of sex hormones in both males and females
what are the female hormones responsible for
their ovaries start the release of these hormones and these are then responsible for ovulation and menstruation. after a females first period they are deemed fertile
