A

When the noun has a definite article

Still used when the definite article is hiding inside a contraction like von + dem = vom

Also used after:
— alle
— beider
— dieser
— jeder
— mach
— sloch
— welch

A

-en for everything except

nominative M, F, N,
accusative F, N
= ‘e’

A

When the noun has no article
> no article = adjective has to carry all info about gender/case

Other words:
