Human Papillomavirus (HPV)
HPV is a common virus that affects both males and females, which is passed from person to person through sexual contact. HPV can stay in the body for years, causing changes to cells that can lead to a wide range of HPV-related cancers and other serious diseases

HEEADSSS Assessment
H – Home - Family Geno gram, Family Roles, Where do you live? Who do you live with? Who do you go to with problems? Have you moved many times? Any runaways?
E – Education/Employment How are you going at school/work? What are you good at and what do you think you could do better? How do you get along with… ? Grades, workplace expectations? Bullying?
E – Eating / Exercise - Eating and exercise habits when stressed? What is your diet like? Have you tried losing weight? How often do you think about weight loss? How often do you exercise? Also ask about vomiting and use of laxatives or diet pills.
A- Activity - This includes peer related activities. Ask about sports and hobbies. Parties. Family relationships TV What do you do to have fun? Crime, Arrests etc.
D- Drugs - Start by stating that it is common for young people to start experimenting with drugs and ask about their experiences. Friends and drugs. Cigarette smoking. Quantity and when it’s most likely taken. Also ask how these drugs/cigarettes affect them. Any regrets?
S- Sexuality - Ask if they’re in a relationship. Are they intimate? Talk about S.T.I.’s, contraception. Ask how they feel about relationships in general? Has anyone ever touched you in a way that has made you feel uncomfortable? History of abuse?
S- Suicide/ Depression - Do you feel sad more than usual? Ask if they have ever done themselves harm Have they thought about doing harm to others Are they bored with everything and have no desire to socialise
S – Safety - Establishing a base line for their risk taking behaviour. If they like to take risks – drive without seatbelt, skateboard behind care, then they are more likely to be non compliant with their medical care.

A hip spica cast is a sort of orthopedic cast used to immobilize the hip or thigh. It is used to facilitate healing of injured hip joints or of fractured femurs. A hip spica includes the trunk of the body and one or both legs
