define colour mechanisms
colour mechanisms is protective colouring that occurs when an animal’s colour is such that the animal blends in with its environment.
explain mimicry
a phenomenon that occurs when one animal imitates the shape, colour and behaviour of another species that is poisonous or tastes unpleasant.
what is a hydrophyte?
plants that are adapted to live in or near water.
what is a xerophyte?
plants that are adapted to survive with very little water.
what is a mesophyte?
plants that live in moderate regions where there is neither too much or too little.
