Name 3 causes of AKI

A

Pre-renal failure:

Renal hypoperfusion, hypovolaemia (bleeding, dehydration), sepsis, renal artery stenosis, ACEi, NSAIDs

Intrinsic renal failure:

Diabetes, SLE, myeloma

Post-renal failure:

Obstruction/blockage of drainage from kidneys
