A

1- coexistence of mild PET ( ⬆️BP+proteinuria : mild)
2- LFTs : ⬆️ transaminas ( 3-10 folds)
⬆️ alkaline phosphatase
3- coagulopathy : DIC 90 %
Often without thrombocytopenia
[presenting feature postpartum ]
4- acute kidney injury AKI
5- lactic acidosis
6- ⬆️ ammonia
7- hyperuricemia ( 90 %)
8- hypoglycemia 70%
9- fulminant liver failure 👉 hepatic
encephalopathy
10- polyuria + polydipsia: Diabetes insipidus DI ( كاذب)

What is the management in ALP ?

A

1- Correct coagulopathy: FFP + Vit K
2- correct hypoglycemia: 10 - 50 % glucose
3- Antibiotics
4 - N- ACETYLCYSTEINE ***
5- if excessive urine: Desmopressin
❤ Delivery is the correct treatment once hypoglycemia & coagulopathy & hypertension have been controlled
