On the day of Pentecost, the disciples were together. What happened next?
Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting.
What did they see above each person?
They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them.
What was the result of the wind and the fire?
All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit and began to speak in other tongues[a] as the Spirit enabled them.
A crowd of God-fearing Jews from every nation were in Jerusalem. When they heard the noise of the wind, what did they do?
The crowd came together in bewilderment, because each one heard their own language being spoken.
Some were Amazed and perplexed by the wind and the speaking in tongues, and they asked one another, “What does this mean,” but some had a different opinion. What was it?
Some, however, made fun of them and said, “They have had too much wine.”
What did Peter tell the people who accused the apostles of being drunk?
These people are not drunk, as you suppose. It’s only nine in the morning!
Who stood and defended the believers when they were accused of being drunk?
Peter - and the disciples stood with him
What else did Peter tell the ones who mocked the disciples?
He told them what had been foretold and that Jesus had come to fulfill the prophesy, but they had tortured and killed him.
What was the reaction to Peter’s speech?
they were pricked in their heart and asked Peter and the rest what they should do.
What did Peter advise the Jews who had asked what they should do, after he accused them of killing Jesus?
“Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.

they continued steadfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in the breaking of bread and in prayers.
