Triangle Sum Theorem
The sum of the three interior angles in a triangle is ALWAYS 180 degrees.
Auxiliary Line
A line added to your figure in a proof to help you complete the proof.
Parallel Postulate
If there is a line and a point not on the line, then there is exactly one line through the point parallel to the given line.
Interior Angle
Formed by two sides of the triangle.
Exterior Angle
Formed by one side of the triangle and the extension of an adjacent side.
Remote Interior Angle
Interior angle that is not adjacent to a given exterior angle.
Remote Exterior Angle
The exterior angles of a triangle is equal to the sum of the two opposite interior angles.
Isosceles Triangle
A triangle with two congruent sides.
Coincide
Correspond exactly.
Isosceles Triangle Theorem
If two sides of a triangle are congruent, then angles opposite those sides are congruent .
