16
Q

where is psudostratified (ciliated) columnar epithelium found?

A

respiratory tract

17
Q

What is keratinized epithelium

A

layers of dead squamous cells which is waterproof and reduces evaporation from underlying tissues. they’re found on skin. keeps it moisturized.

18
Q

How can you tell a pseudostratified columnar epithelium

A

has goblets, cilated, lots of nucleus

19
Q

Transitional epithelium

A

blocks diffusion, urinary bladder, highly modified stratified squamous that forms the lining of only a few organs. these organs have ability to stretch. filled up, the epithelium is thin
