Binds and absorbs toxins preventing GI absorption

Poisoning by mouth

Contraindications:
Must be able to swallow
Must NOT be actively vomiting
(Medication must be able to stay in stomach to maximize absorption)
Must NOT have swallowed acids of Alkalis

Nausea
Vomiting
Constipation

1-2 grams mixed in water
(Typically 50-75 grams)
