Electrodesiccation and curettage
Chemical peels
Diclofenac 3% twice daily for 60-90 days
Imiquimod 5% twice weekly for 16 weeks
Laser
Radiosurgery
Imiquimod 2.5-5%

Tretinoin
* Mild actinic damage
* Once day for up 2-4 months
5-fluorouracil .5-5% cream twice daily for 2-4 weeks
* AKs become painful, crusted and eroded, at which time the medication is stopped
* Inhibits DNA synthesis by blocking the enzyme thymidylate synthetase.
* Can cause pain
* Allergic reactions possible
Photodynamic therapy with Topical 5-aminolevulinic acid for 1,000 seconds on next day
