A tempestuous noise of thunder and lightning heard.
Boatswain: role reversal
“You mar our labour. Keep your cabins: you do assist the storm.”
Gonzalo: We will not drown

Gonzalo: woah m8 we’re better than you
“Remember whom thou hast aboard”
Boatswain: Are you trying to be superior to nature?
“What care these roarers for the name of king?”
Antonio: blaming
“you whoreson, insolent noise-maker”
What happens in this scene?
The Tempest wrecks the Kings boat, sailing from Tunis back home to Naples, introduces Alonso (King of Naples), Sebastian (Alonso’s brother), Ferdinand (Alonso’s son), Antonio (Prospoer’s brother, Duke of Millaine) and Gonzalo (an elderly councillor).
