What happens in Act 4 scene 1

Paris goes to the friar to to arrange his and Juliets marriage. The friar disapproves. Juliet enters and tells Paris that she does not like him. Juliet threatens to kill herself and not be unfaithful too Romeo. The friar conducts a plan whee Juliet will drink a potion that will make her seem dead. Her family think she is dead will take her to the capulet tomb where the friar and Romeo will be waiting. Then her and Romeo will flee to Mantua.

Juliet pretends to be sorry about refusing to marry Capulet. This makes Capulet so happy that he moves the a day ahead, to Wednesday(the next day)

Juliet persuades her mother and the nurse to let her sleep alone. When Juliet is alone she contemplates drinking the potion as it may go wrong. But int eh end she drinks at falls into a death like sleep
