What happens in Act 3 scene 1
Mercutio and Tybalt fight ending in Tybalt Mercutio’s death. Romeo tried to stop the fight but in rage kills Tybalt. The prince arrives and says when Romeo is found he will be killed.
What happens in Act 3 scene 2
The nurse tells Juliet her the bad news, however Juliets love for him overcomes her shock and she declares her love for him once again
What happens in Act 3 scene 3
He is in a very bad state as he has been banished, he attempts to kill himself but the nurse grabs the knife. He and the friar arrange a plan.
What happens in Act 3 scene 4
Capulet tells Paris that Juliet will be persuaded to marry him that Thursday
What happens in Act 3 scene 5
Romeo slips away to Mantua. Lady capulet tells Juliet that she will be getting married to Paris but she refuses. This makes Capulet very mad and he says that he will disown Juliet if she doesn’t marry him. She goes to the friar for help and if no solution is found she will kill herself
