O Romeo, Romeo! – wherefore art thou Romeo?
Deny thy father and refuse thy name.
Or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my love,
And I’ll no longer be a Capulet.
Juliet-Juliet loves Romeo back she says if he asks him to marry her she will say yes and change her name
• What light through yonder window breaks? It is the East, and Juliet is the sun!
Romeo,Romeo loves Juliet because he compares her to the sun
• What’s in a name? That which we call a rose
By any other name would smell as sweet.
Juliet-Juliet says what is such a big deal about a name if Romeos name wasn’t romeo id still love him.
• With love’s light wings did I o’erperch these walls.
For stony limits cannot hold love out.
Romeo-Romeo says with the love we share there’s no way those high walls can keep me out.
• My life were better ended by their hate
Than death prorogued, wanting of thy love.
Juliet-Juliet tells romeo how much she loves him by saying she’d rather die than him not saying that he loved her back.
• Although I joy in thee,
I have no joy of this contract tonight.
It is too rash, too unadvised, too sudden.
Juliet-Juliet tells Romeo that she still loves him but, it is too sudden,too unadvised and too rash when he asked to marry her.
• Then plainly know my heart’s dear love is set
On the fair daughter of rich Capulet.
Romeo-Romeo says the one he loves is set on the wealthy Capulets daughter Juliet
• Young men’s love then lies
Not truly in their hearts, but in their eyes.
Friar Lawrenc-Friar Lawrence tells romeo that most youngs boys don’t love them because there nice but because they’re beautiful.
• For this alliance may so happy prove
To turn your households’ rancour to pure love.
Friar Lawrence-Friar Lawrence says the reason I will marry yous two is because it might help end the family feud.

Mercutio-Mercutio says to Romeo Now your being sociable now your Romeo

Paradise, as they say, it were a very gross kind of behaviour

• Then hie you hence to Friar Lawerence’ cell.
There stays a husband to make you a wife.
The Nurse tells Juliet that when she goes to Friar Lawrence’s cell Romeo will be waiting for her wife.
