She wishes that it is november, with days of rain and frost. she rejects the heat, unlike adela who embraces it.

La hija de la librada
Unmarried woman had a daughter and no one knows who the father is. She kills the child due to the shame (prefers to kill the child than face the shame of society). Then people want to kill her, draggin her out on the street. Bernarda argues that this is right, Adela protests.
