act 2 Flashcards
Is this a dagger which I see before me,
The handle toward my hand?

Nature seems dead, and wicked dreams abuse
The curtain’d sleep. Witchcraft celebrates

Sleep that knits up the ravell’d sleeve of care,
2, 2, 38-39
My hands are of your colour, but I shame
To wear a heart so white.
2, 2, 67-68
The night has been unruly: where we lay,
Our chimneys were blown down
2, 3, 49-50
Here lay Duncan,
His silver skin lac’d with his golden blood
And his gash’d stabs look’d like a breach in nature,
For ruin’s wasteful entrance
2, 3, 107-109
