Age groups & dose

A
Adults (>8 yrs):  2 ml/kg of D50 
2-8 yrs: 4ml/kg of D25 
<2 yrs: 10ml/kg D10 
Note: 1 amp = 50 ml 
D50 = 50g dextrose/100 ml--> 25g of suga

Lidocaine

A

For stable VT or persistent pulseless VT/V fib after amiodarone or if amiodarone unavailable

1-1.5 mg/kg initial bolus, then 0.5-0.75 mg/kg q5 min to max dose of 3 mg/kg
