Universal indicator
pH meter
balance NaOH + H2S04 -> Na2SO4 + H2O
2NaOH + H2SO4 -> NA2SO4 + 2H20
whats MgCO3 + H2SO4
MgCO3 + H2SO4 -> MgSO4 + H20 + CO2
ZnO + HNO3
ZnO + 2HNO3 -> Zn(NO3)2 + H20
Ca + HCl
Ca + 2HCl -> Cacl2 + H2
LiOH + CH3COOH
LiOH +CH3COOH -> CH3COOLi + H20
experimenr
add sulfuric acid to a beaker
then add excess MgO using a spatula to ensure all the acid reacts
heat and stir to ensure a complete reaction and all the reactants mix
filter using filter funnel to remove excess base
heat gently using water bath and bunsen to evaporate water which leaves the crystals
pat it dry to remove any additional water
potassium hydroxide and hydrochloric acid mix what are products
potassium chloride + water
sodium sulfate, water and carbon dioxide are produced what are reactants
sulfuric acid + sodium carbonate
