Accountability gets a bad rap because it is viewed as a consequence for poor performance.
A task-oriented, perform-the-function mindset leads people to believe they are doing their job.
People use victimization to justify inaction, give excuses, and rationalize poor performance.
What are the symptoms of unaccountable behavior?
