What do merocrine produce
A
sweat = water + some salts + some metabolic wastes

Inhibit bacterial growth

What happens if the temperature is high?
A
nerve endings make glands secrete more sweat. When this evaporates, it carries body heat with it, reducing the body temperature.

A
In axillary and genital areas

Describe the size of apocrine?
A
Larger than eccrine glands

What do secretions of apocrine contain?
A
contains fats & proteins. Musky odour when bacteria attack these.
