2. The title is the first opportunity to inform the reader about the thesis of your essay
3. Capitalize the title correctly.

Don’ts
1. Never just write “Evaluation essay”
What is the purpose of an introduction?
1.Engage the reader
2. Provide background information
3. Present the thesis
4. Unless necessary for contextualization, save the evidence to support your claims in the body paragraphs
5. Do not serve the main meal at the same time.
How to write the conclusion
- Write a solid conclusion that wraps up the idea of the paper.
- Revisit the thesis statement within repeating it
- Do not introduce new ideas in the conclusion
- Avoid saying “in conclusion” or “to sum”
What to include in a thesis
- Make sure the thesis is not a question but answers a question
- Make sure it strongly states a point that is arguable or datable.
