Academic integrity refers to the ethical principles and standards that guide honest, fair, and responsible behaviour in academic settings. It involves maintaining truthfulness in research, writing, and collaboration while respecting the work of others

Recognize the paradigms of relationality
Means realizing that all knowledge is connected because we are connected.
Therefore, when we learn, study, and grow it is important to acknowledge the relationships between our work and others’
Recognize the paradigms of reciprocity
It means we belong to one another, that our relationship will be mutually beneficial
Reciprocity in academic integrity means honouring and valuing the responsibility we have to the knowledge we are creating and sharing
Recognize the paradigms of respect regarding academic integrity
Means asking who the right person is to share the stories or knowledge we are citing in our work
Also means being explicit about whose story is being told and acknowledging that person in our work.
